Homefoods was awarded Africa's Best Premium Food Products Company of the year 2016 at the African Brand Congress held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Homefoods emerged as the Agro-Processed Palm Oil of the year 2015 at the 4th EFG (Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana) held at the state banquet hall in August, 2016.
The entrepreneur has come a long way from her humble business beginnings when she set up Homefoods in 1995. Working from home, she first exported 100 cartons of palm oil in 1997, then shipped her first 20ft container in 2008.
In November 2014, the CEO of Homefoods was nominated as Finalist at Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, West Africa. The award ceremony was held in EKO Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.
Felicia Twumasi, CEO of Homefoods, was one of the panelist on the Food Products and Cost Section for Entrepreneurship and Investment: Building and Scaling Businesses Across Africa.
